Asharqia Chamber would like to inform you that we have received a letter from the Saudi Chambers Union, number (45501521) dated (2/4/1445H), referring to the recommendation of the Executive Committee for Improving Business Performance in the private sector "Tayseer," held on Wednesday, 5th Rabi Al-Awwal 1445H, corresponding to September 2023. The recommendation involves the Saudi Chambers Union preparing a report to assess the current procedures and requirements for tax warehouses and the postponement of Value Added Tax collection. The report is expected to include a list of challenges faced by importers, proposed solutions for each challenge, and international best practices.
The Union kindly requests interested parties and relevant companies and private sector institutions to provide them with a report from your perspective. The report should include the procedures, requirements, challenges, and solutions regarding tax warehouses and the postponement of Value Added Tax collection for each economic sector separately.
The deadline for submitting the report is Thursday, 18th Rabi Al-Thani 1445H, corresponding to November 2, 2023.
